MonsterAcademy - Concept and Materials online

Sandra Schaffert and Wolf Hilzensauer developed and moderated a workshop at the TENCOMPETENCE winter school in Innsbruck, Austria.
The workshop title was “Educational Theories and Didactical Approaches”. For this purpose, they created a story around the “Monster Academy”. The instruction and assignments for the group work (problem based learning) had been prepared as videos (TV shows). Additionally, different interventions to influence the cooperative learning within the groups, and a team of observers (looking on the processes within the groups and the overall communication) were used to establish reflections about didactical designs on a meta level. Last but not least, personal reflections were collected by Wolf and will be published as a video within the next weeks.
